Convention and Conference Services

When you're planning your next Convention or Conference, or you need to deliver a high-quality video-conference session, don't forget to call Borealis for your Internet Service requirements.

We can provide your organization with Professional Quality Symmetric Internet service in many venues around Anchorage, with up to 8 Mbps of symmetric bandwidth, short lead times and a very attractive price.

Compare these features to what you've been using:

Bandwidth		2 Mbps standard. Up to 8 Mbps is available. Bandwidth is symmetric, so you get the same speed in OR out, consistent with your selected bandwidth level. This is a must-have for video conferencing.

IP Addresses		5 Public IP Addresses provided. Firewalled, private addresses also available.

Lead Time		1 day for those locations listed in our permanent service list to the right. 1 to 2 weeks lead time preferred if the venue is not already listed as a permanent service location to the right. We've done many conventions at even less installation lead time, so don't hesitate to ask us.

Installation Service		One Cross-connection to your conference room. You are presented with an ethernet port. Plug in your computer, switch, Wi-Fi Device or whatever. Additional cross-connections can be made as necessary. End-to-End performance testing.

For those venues where we have a permanent link already installed (see list on the right), the lead time can be as short as one day ahead of your conference. We're bringing the concept of "On-demand Internet" to more conference locations throughout Anchorage every month. If you frequently use a venue not listed, please don't hesitate to let us know.

New!! Single Task Service	We now also offer a 2-Hour rate for conference services for those times when all you need is a high-quality connection for a limited time.	$399.00 (2 Hrs)

Additional Cross-Connects	For each additional room you'd like cross-connected. One-time fee. Simultaneous use of multiple rooms is permitted as long as all connections are part of the same function and purchaser.	$50.00
